PRIVACY & Data Security

Your privacy and the confidentiality of your information are extremely important to me. Any information you provide will be kept secure and will never be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without your consent.

The data collected is used solely to provide and manage freelance paralegal and legal support services, including preparing documents, managing contracts, and fulfilling client requests. Information collected may include, but is not limited to:

  • Your Name

  • Contact Information (phone number, email)

  • Address or business location

  • Payment information (for services rendered)

 

All client information is stored securely using encrypted systems and industry-standard safeguards. Client data is retained for as long as you are actively receiving services. After services conclude or agreements are completed, your information will be securely stored for 60 days to allow for record-keeping and follow-up purposes. After this period, all information will be permanently deleted from our systems.

You may update, modify, or request deletion of your information at any time. If you have questions about how your data is stored or handled, please contact me directly.

Refunds and Cancellations

1. Consultation Fees

All consultation fees are non-refundable. The consultation fee covers the time spent assessing your needs, reviewing materials, and discussing service options.

If you proceed with services after the consultation, the consultation fee will be applied as a credit toward your final invoice.

2. Cancellation After Services Begin

Once work on a project has commenced, any cancellation by the client will require payment for all hours already worked. The rate for work performed is $30 per hour, calculated from the time the service began until the point of cancellation.

3. Payment of Invoices

All invoices are due upon receipt. If invoices remain unpaid for more than 30 days, the matter may be referred to civil litigation. The client will be responsible for all associated court costs, legal fees, and collection expenses. By booking any service, you are agreeing to the terms listed in the above policies.
